Territory Justice Agencies

CASE STUDY

Data Governance & Architecture

Getting the basics right through data governance and architecture drives a sector transformation that delivers better value for all.

Data Governance and Architecture were the key to  creating an integrated justice conitnuum and realising future business potential for these Territory Justice Agencies.

Client need

This Territory Government agency was focused on realising its vision for an integrated justice continuum, where information can be securely and seamlessly exchanged across all  justice agencies including Police, Attorney Generals, Corrections, Motor Vehicles Associations and Courts.

    ___Our approach

We were engaged to lead a critical design phase of this agencies mainframe modernisation program. We designed the foundational components for cross agency information exchange, and delivered the following artefacts relevant to the work:

  • A tailored Data Governance Framework for the multi-agency Integrated Justice Continuum.
  • Data Management Current State Assessment.
  • Master Data model for Person of Interest, and ancillary 360-degree view of Citizen model.
  • Enterprise Architecture for supporting data sharing within the Integrated Justice Continuum.
  • Assessment of current Data Analytics solutions in the Justice related agencies.
  • Master Data Management (MDM) Integration Architecture.

Value delivered

The architectures and frameworks we developed have enabled the integration and transformation of Justice systems under the Territory Government Program VERITAS. Our work has enabled  Territory law enforcement agencies to implement best of breed systems, through the enablement of cross-agency data management and integration.
