Responding to numerous ongoing issues within the client site with inconsistent reporting, IMS were brought in to assess the causes of the underlying data quality issues. It was determined that a main factor was the mis-match of corporate reference data across the numerous operational and reporting systems.

IMS was engaged to design and implement a Master Data hub for the reference data, and then integrate this with the core reporting systems.
The hub was designed to automatically update the multiple operational and reporting systems nightly with the latest data from the Master Data hub. Once completed, the system improved the quality of month end reporting and automated a significant portion of the month end reporting processes.
