____ Do you find yourself saying....

Our organisation has many legacy, on-premise systems that we’ve morphed into over time. We recognise that moving into the digital age will provide significant benefits, but establishing this is a huge challenge for us. We’ve established a roadmap to deliver these benefits, but we are struggling with the link between our IT technical area and meeting these business requirements. Where should we start when considering undertaking a digital transformation exercise?

What is Digital Transformation?

At its essence, Digital Transformation is the integration of digital technology into all areas of a business to fundamentally change how you operate and deliver value to your customers and key stakeholders. It’s also a cultural change that requires organisations to continually challenge the status quo about how they can become progressively better, more competitive and relevant for their key stakeholders and customers.

IMS specialises in Digital Transformation, enabled by a highly aligned Technology Strategy and enterprise architecture. Over our 13 year history, we are privileged to have spent much of our time helping many public and private organisations transform.

We establish a new relationship between Business and IT, whereby digital transformations are accelerated through a suite of enterprise platforms and business solutions, managed through a collaborative governance model and supporting enterprise architecture.

We help to reinvigorate technology teams, by helping them shift away from vendor led technology environments, towards managing their own enterprise architecture. We also help them shift away from focusing on supporting their business systems, towards understanding and leveraging the data they contain.

Accelerate your Digital Transformation

____

This renewed focus, coupled with an uplift in core capabilities, enables IT to become a critical partner in digital transformation, offering a range of data products, predictive models, and services to integrate and automate business processes.

Our approach strikes a balance between meeting our clients requirements and deliverables, while also leveraging our proven frameworks and experience in a fit for purpose way. Our program management approach, while remaining focused on the objectives, is suitably adaptable to deal with a broad range of conditions and situations which cannot be fully known during the initial planning stage. Knowing the nature of the challenges and how to work efficiently and jointly only comes from deep experience and our pedigree assures this. No transformation is perfect by design, so aligning mindsets and achieving worthwhile value are at the core of our approach.

Obtaining Value from the Journey

A transformation journey provides a once in a generation opportunity to reorganise, recharge and uplift the skills of your workforce. With that in mind, our transformation structure includes Centres of Excellence, which act as dynamos for uplifting skills and knowledge transfer. These Centres of Excellence enable our client’s staff to work side by side with our expert architects, utilising best practice standards.

Business Case & RFP Development

One of the areas that IMS excels at is in bringing innovation to an organisation. Establishing a concept for a solution or pathway for an organisation, then being able to engage with the relevant business and/or technology areas at all levels to get the momentum to a point of being funded. We are then able to work independently or in conjunction with client resources to develop and manage the business case phase through to adoption.

In a number of cases, this has been a multi-step process, with the first step being acceptance of the business need and an allocation of funding to undertake an RFx process. We have then run these in many cases on behalf of the client through to a successful recommendation / decision.
